Packaging & Protection Techniques

To ensure parts arrive in "near-perfect" condition, fabricators use specialized layers of protection: 

Surface Protection: Adhesive films prevent scratches on painted or polished surfaces, while Volatile Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) films or papers are essential for preventing rust during long transit times.

Cushioning: Foam inserts, bubble wrap, and separator pads prevent metal-on-metal contact, which can cause vibration-induced wear.

Immobilization: Custom metal brackets can be fabricated to bolt an enclosure directly to a heavy-duty wooden skid or pallet, ensuring it cannot shift inside its crate.

Edge Defense: Heavy-duty angle boards or corner protectors prevent the "bending" of delicate sheet metal edges during handling by forklifts.
